Frantage Embossed Roses by Jani

Well, I have made a lot of paper flowers.
(literally over 1,000 that I can count)
I have to say this one might be my favorite.

I wish you could see them in person because pictures just do not show how stunning these sparkling roses are.

So...
I was playing around with the
(which I dearly love)

It includes Royal blue glass glitter, shabby blue embossing enamel,
royal blue embossing tinsel, silver halo glitter, and powder blue fragments.

I used the Tim Holtz Stampers Anon Damask Stamps

VersaMark ink and a black tag

I began by pouncing the tag with my magic embossing bag.
Then I stamped the largest damask  stamp in the righthand side
and embossing with clear embossing powder.

Next, I stamped the  medium damask and embossed with the

royal blue embossing tinsel.
(it sparkles :)

Then I stamped the small damask stamp in the
shabby blue embossing enamel.
(it has white enamel mixed with tiny gold, and blue flakes)

The tag looked pretty good so far.

The bottom of the tag needed some oomph...

Starting from the bottom up, I glued on:
A row of the blue glass glitter,
A row of the shabby blue embossing enamel that I added the powder blue fragments to.
Then a row of black bugle beads topped with
a row of the iridescent beads.
(the black bugle beads and iridescent beads come in the Glass Beads-Black & White kit)

At this point, it just called out for a flower (or 2) LOL
I made a couple of blue Open Roses. They were pretty.
Then it dawned on be they would be even prettier with some of the shabby blue embossing enamel.
I was a little apprehensive to put something wet on the handmade flower I had just spent all that time on, but I did it anyway.

I used the clear embossing pen from Ranger and marked all over each petal.
I worked in segments to add the shabby blue mixture over it
and emboss it with my heat gun.

So glad I took the risk because look how pretty it came out.

I embossed the second rose and added a glittery butterfly and ribbons.
(I used the blue glass glitter for the butterfly)

So here is the final result

I am loving it!

Scrapadabadoo also has the
I am thinking I need to order it too!
With all the coordinating colors and products in the kit together, you really can't go wrong.

You can also stop by my blog to see pictures of a card I made with the tag.

In the meantime,
I wonder what else I can emboss with these goodies...?
(I will keep you informed. LOL)
