Folded Fun by Wendy Kats

When diving back into my  designbox my brain already jumped into gear.....
I had a few fun things left in there and was trying to decide if I was going for envelopes or for the last chipboard album......the envelopes won lol.

Of course I already did the Folded Treasure but in the back of my head I always had another idea and another paper i wanted to use. I have to admit I just love to fiddle with envelopes and see what I come up with. It took me a few days but i think its turned out cute and it was fun to make so here is "Folded Fun"

As there are 4 envelopes in a pack i changed it a little bit in the way its been folded but you can say this is the little brother of the Folded Treasure. I kept the front nice and simple with two pockets on the front for small tags. of course i had to punch the edges and i decided on the doily lace one from Martha Stewart.

When you make this album you really have to think how to place your paper...how do I know? well lets just say Humpty Dumpty almost ended op standing on his head ;)
There are four envelopes in this album so I picked 4 base colors one for each of the large tags that go inside the envelopes.
I tried to use all the envelopes in a different way and adding extra pockets by using the cut apart cards out of the collection..raising them with foam tape so a tag fits behind it.

I also had the chipboard tags and the pockets from this collection and they just worked perfectly with this album giving it the extra dimension I needed. Also i used some cardstock to extend the flaps a bit just so i had an excuse to put more fun stuff on it ;)

All envelopes are placed in a way that all flaps are on the inside and and open on the sides so they don't get in the way when you fold it up again folding....found that out the hard way lol.

Its time for me to get my my crafty cap on and finish the next project.
If you would like more information on how to make this album you can find a free download on my blog www.paperdutchess.com

For now I will say....scrap on and have fun !!!!!
