Passport Mini Album ACT Holder By Carol Hester

I had this wild idea that the Sizzix Pass Port Mini Album ( Die ) would be perfect for making an album to hold the ATC Cards I received in the first round of swaps. I thought if I cut the pages out of Page protectors and then used the Fuse Tool to seal up the sides and bottom it would be large enough to hold the cards and be able to show both sides of them.. as it turns out It did work.

I had to extend the spine of the album but I just cut one extra flap and a signature and use that to make it a bit wider and allows for chunkier contents.

Each Signature holds two pages, which means that I can fit all 12 of the swap cards in one book.

I cut each 8 1/2 x 11 page protector in half and then ran them through the die cutting machine keeping the two layers together.

Then I cut a template out just slightly bigger that the ATC cards and then using my Fuse Tool I used the template to seal the sleeves up on three sides

You can cut the excess off, but I chose to leave it on

I assembled my album putting two of each sleeve per hole on the spine, added the covers. I added the ATC cards to know how bulky it was.

I then made a closure with Kraft Tex and adhered it to the covers using Velcro on both the back and the front

I am delighted with how it turned out and I can now display my beautiful cards on the coffee table for all to enjoy..

Note: If you would like to make this book using the precut album, and you purchase the page sleeves, I will be happy to cut them out for you. Also note that you need the spine extension.
