Mini Folders by Carol Hester

Today I want to share with you a die that we have had in the store for a while now, but may be being overlooked as to what it can do and how fun it is.. I was looking for something fun to make to put gift cards in and .. yup this one was it.. I am talking about the Lifestyle Crafts Folder with Insert die..  The finished size is  3-1/16x4-7/64 inches so it is perfect.

 

And as some of you know, I have a thing for Mason Jars, so the Echo Park Fine and Dandy Jar was perfect to fit on the front.. The papers are the Authentique Believe, but I did use a random stamp on the front.. added some holly leaves, a tiny paper bow and bit of stickles and … done

The inside was just as easy.. stamped a sentiment for the right and and put in the gift card on the left. These lie flat when done so no need for a closure .. and they do fit in an A4 Envelope which are a tiny bit big, but are able to be mailed.

I also decided since I was making these , that I should do one with the BoBunny Madeleine Papers , and the same Echo Park Jar Die, a Petaloo Flower and two of the Bulk Leaves. I did make the tops of these Jars out of  card stock and the Ranger Metal Foil Tape.. just gave it that jar lid look..

The inside is left blank, on the right, but I have added some tags to the pocket as a little thank you gift..

 

I really do love this die set, and on most of the Lifestyle dies, you can cut more than one layer out at a time.. I will usually do two or three at once and they come out great…
