Welcome September!!

September has arrived and I must say I am not ready for the summer to be over. I am hoping for an Indian summer but after the down pouring of rain yesterday my hopes of that are fading fast.
So, my next best thing is to think of all the indoor projects that I want to do and get cracking on that.
I have a stack of pictures that need to be scrapped, a ton of cards that need to be made, and I really should get started on the gifts that I give to all the ladies in the family for (gulp) Christmas. I am going to be doing some different things this year as I need to use some of this great new stuff that has arrived over the last few months. Some of the new Sizzix dies are so fun and they have got my imagination flowing, and of course there is all the new K& Company papers that are so beautiful that I have a difficult time cutting into them, but I will I will !!
The store has been busier than ever and we are ordering like mad to get more great products in stock. We were excited to get the dauber boxes in, and they are compact and wonderful !! We are shipping out the new bone folders as fast as they arrive, and Barrie said we should probably just triple our order so that's what we shall do. It is so funny how long we have had the quickstik's in with out selling any and now that Laura has let people know their usefulness, we are seeing them fly out the door as well.
We have noticed that you all are discovering our great chipboard books too, and I must say they are great gift projects for (gulp) Christmas. Grandma & Grandpa would love to have this bestowed upon them with the cute faces of the grand babies on each and every page. They are made of acid free, medium weight chipboard and come in a variety of shapes and sizes.

These books are so easy to cover and decorate and fun too!  I swear by the Pioneer Glue Stick to use for adhering your paper to the chipboard. As long as you make sure you glue your edges very good, your paper will never come off the chipboard when using it !! Give it a try and let me know if you like it !!
Well, enjoy your first day of September, and please join us for our challenge that was posted earlier in August. I have only a couple of people who have sent me pictures and One of the will be winning a Prima Paintable Paper Pack.... join us and it could be you !!!!
Blessings Carol
