Just wanted to take a moment and let you see what I have been up
to. We received our Heartfelt Creations Coffee Talk order and as you my have
guessed I fell in love with it all. I decided that this would make an adorable
canvas and I just love how it turned out.
I had an old 12x12 Canvas that was painted an ugly brown, so I
decided to paint it black using the Dylusions Black Marble Paint. I painted both the front and the
back, because I wanted to use the inside for the actual canvas work. I then
chose to use the Prima Square Wood Trays, which were painted blue ( just used
some blue acrylic paint I had) . I cut out the mug from the Coffee Talk Mug
Set, and then stamped the image on a scrap piece of paper with my Misti. I placed the die cut image on the stamped image and
then re-stamped it onto the die cut. I cut out 4 layers of thin chipboard to
back it with for extra stability. ( I will do a video showing how much easier
it is to die cut first and then stamp) I colored the image in with my Prima Watercolor pencils and then added a little bit of the
clear Wink Of Stella to the blue and to the top of the mug. I also
used the New Laser Cut Latte Cup and dressed it up with some of the paper
from the Coffee Talk Collection. I chose a couple of the images from the paper
collection to put on the Prima Wood Trays. I then just started adding some of
the metal embellishments I had in my stash along with a spoon, and some coffee
beans !!!
